Adjacent to the Mirror Ball, South Promenade, Blackpool FY4 1BB. Event HQ will be clearly signposted and is the hub of all activity on race day. Here you’ll find:

🎟️ Number Collection
Race numbers are collected on the morning of the event from Event HQ. Please bring your email confirmation (printed or on your phone) to ensure a quick and smooth collection. Safety pins will be provided. Numbers must be worn on the front of your running top and be clearly visible at all times.
🚗 Parking
Ample parking is available at the South Beach Car Park (FY4 1BB) and Waterloo Road Car Park (FY4 1AF), both within a short walk of Event HQ. Please allow plenty of time to park and walk to the event site. Normal parking charges apply.
🏃 The Route
A stunning out-and-back route along the golden sands of Blackpool Beach, starting and finishing beside the Mirror Ball. Expect a mix of firm sand and hard-packed surface — perfect for running. You’ll enjoy uninterrupted coastal views and a refreshing sea breeze throughout!
💦 Water Station
There will be one water station positioned at approximately halfway (5K mark) on the beach route. Water will also be available at the finish. Please help us keep the beach tidy by using the bins provided.
🎧 Headphones Policy
For your safety, in-ear headphones are not permitted. Bone-conduction headphones are allowed but must be used with care to ensure you remain aware of instructions, other runners, and your surroundings.
👟 Footwear Tips
We recommend wearing trail or hybrid running shoes with good grip. The sand is firm and compact, but some sections may be softer depending on recent tides and weather.
🌊 Tide & Weather
The event is carefully timed with the tides, providing the best running surface possible. Please check the weather forecast and dress appropriately — remember, it can feel cooler by the sea!

A baggage drop will be available at Event HQ.
🚑 Medical Support
Our professional medical team from RMS Ambulance Services will be in attendance throughout the event, both at the start/finish area and on the course. If you feel unwell or need assistance, please inform a marshal or first aider immediately.
