ABOUT THE EVENT
A fast course around the coastal front of Blackpool... Its a little cracker with a great atmosphere. The event is suitable for all types of runner, fast and slow, young and old. As always a warm FCR welcome awaits you. The route is wheelchair friendly, and we also welcome nordic and power walkers.
The route takes in the upper and lower walkways of Blackpool's North Promenade.
As with all the FCR courses, the route is a certified accurate 10k distance by the Association of UK Course Measurers. The event is licensed by UK Athletics and organised under their rules.

EVENT HQ
The event headquarters is on the Middle Walkway on Blackpool's North Promenade. The nearest postcode for reference is FY1 2JQ. The middle walkway runs parallel to the main road and is just north of North Pier.
At race HQ you will find the registration desks where you can collect your race number. There are also plenty of toilets and baggage and car key storage.

REGISTRATION
Entry into the event is open to everyone of all abilities as long as you are aged over 15 on the day of the race. Online entry is the quickest method and we do not charge a transaction or handling fee for debit/credit cards.

There may be entries available on the day (don't risk it though), and these will be charged £5 extra. Postal entries will not be accepted.

RUNNERS INFORMATION
BIB NUMBERS
- Pre-Race Bib Number Collection is available from the week before at the Events Office
- On the Day Bib Number Collection is open for you to collect your race pack from 8.00am until 9.15am at the race venue.
ROUTE
The entire route is marshalled and signed for the duration of the event. The route you are running on is open to the public so be aware of pedestrians and cyclists. The course is traffic free. |
- Water Stations - Water is available at the start of the race, 5k on the course and at the finish
- Medics - Medical service is available at the start/finish and on the course provide by cycle responders
What you need
When you come to collect your race pack we advise you bring with you a copy of your entry confirmation, either on paper, or on your phone. Don't worry if you don't, as long as you are on the confirmation list, everything will be fine. All the race packs are in alphabetical order.

In your envelope you will find your bib number which needs to be securely attached to the front of your running top. Safety pins are available if required. The timing chip tags are already attached to your number, so do not remove, cover, fold or tear it.
T-Shirt Collection
If you have pre-ordered a commemorative race t-shirt, these can be collected from the Registration Area whilst collecting your race pack.

Results will be published on this website shortly after the event once everyone has completed the event.

CAN'T RUN? ENTRY OPTIONS
If you are unable to compete on the day, do not despair, we have several options open to you so you don't lose your entry fee!
