FCR Volunteers - Recruiting Now!
Marshal and Volunteer Recruitment is an essential part of sporting events throughout the UK - without whom many events would simply not happen, our races are no different and we are always keen to recruit race day volunteers.
In return we can offer free entry to a future Fylde Coast Runners event for you, or a friend/family member.
We can offer you an exciting and enjoyable day as part of the FCR race crew and will ensure you are well looked after. There are many different types of activities some of which are ideally suited to those with previous experience but many can be undertaken with no prior race day knowledge.
• Start Area Assistants (runners welfare, directing runners, offering assistance etc.)
• Finish Area Assistants (handing out medals, water etc. ;runners welfare)
• Water Station Volunteers (ideal for groups/clubs)
• Course Welfare Volunteers
If you are coming along to support on race day and want to get really close to the action then one of these roles could be ideal for you.
