Pre-registration is a essential for participation in the event, and it is inclusive of individuals aged 17 and above on the event day, regardless of your athletic proficiency. We extend a warm invitation to runners, power walkers, and Nordic walkers to join us.There is NO TIME LIMIT on this event, so there is no need to worry about the course closing down or facilities not being available.

BIB NUMBER COLLECTION
To collect your bib number (race pack) for the event, you have two convenient options. Firstly, you can visit the Events Office located at Levens House, Clifton Road, Blackpool FY4 4QA on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th January . Our office hours during these days are from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, ensuring ample time for pick-up.
Alternatively, if you prefer to collect your bib on the event day itself, you can do so at Race HQ in Lea Town starting from 8:00am until 9:45am. Please remember to affix your bib number securely to the FRONT of your running top. The chip timing tag is already pre-attached, so take care not to fold, cut, deface, or damage it in any way to ensure you receive an accurate finishing time. We provide pins for attaching your bib number if needed.

CAR PARKING
Car parking is available at Springfields. Once the car park has filled up, it will be closed and you will need to use on-street parking. DO NOT block driveways OR park on grass verges.

BAGGAGE DROP & KEY DROP
There is an ‘un-manned’ baggage drop area located within the school for small bags, jackets etc. Do not leave any valuables in the baggage area, just essentials needed after your run. We also have a key lock-box for your car keys. This is located REFRESHMENTS KIOSK. Place your keys into your race pack envelope and hand over to the staff for safe keeping during the event.

MP3/iPods must NOT BE USED on the start line. The course is fully signed and marshalled. YOU MUST CHECK THE MAP OF THE ROUTE YOU ARE RUNNING. There will be marshals and plenty of signs directing you but ultimately it is your responsibility to make sure you go the correct way. Be aware of traffic on all sections of the route.

Bottled water (500ml) will be available on the route at 3.5 and 7 miles. Water is also offered to all runners at the finish line.

The expert team from Remote Medical Services will be on-hand should any medical issues arise. They will be patrolling the course on their response bikes and located at the finish line. Make sure you complete the contact and medical form on the back of your bib number before competing.
