A picturesque double-loop course encircles Stanley Park, offering an enjoyable experience for participants of all skill levels and ages. This event shares the same scenic route within the park as the later Autumn Breaker 10k. The race begins and ends in the prize-winning park, tracing its excellently kept paths. The two-lap design is ideal for spectators preferring to remain in the park, and the course is notably flat and precisely measured.

The EVENT HQ is within the park near to the Skate Park and Football Pitches. There are car parks within the park. At Event HQ you will find the registration desks where you can collect your race numbers, an enquiry desk if you have any questions, toilets, and baggage storage. There is also changing and showering facilities within the Sports Centre which you can use.

Stanley Park in Blackpool is a renowned public park offering a blend of architecture, horticulture, and recreational facilities. Located southeast of Blackpool town centre, it is bordered by North Park Drive, East Park Drive (A587), and South Park Drive.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
By Car:
  • From the M55 Motorway: Exit at Junction 4 and follow the tourist signs directing you to Stanley Park.
  • Parking: Ample parking is available near the park's entrances.
By Public Transport:
  • Bus Services:
    • Route 20: Operates from the Pleasure Beach to the Town Centre, then to Stanley Park's main gates and Marton Mere every 30 minutes.
    • Routes 15 and 16 (Blackpool South Circular):
      • Route 15: Travels from the Town Centre to the Zoo, then to South Shore, returning to Stanley Park Gate and back to the Town Centre.
      • Route 16: Runs from the Town Centre to Stanley Park Gates, then to South Shore, returning to the Zoo, and back to the Town Centre.
    • Other Routes: Buses 12, 13 to Poulton, Bispham, and 2c to Knott End pass near the park, stopping approximately 300 yards away near Newton Drive and the Hospital.
    • Train Services:
      • The nearest train station is Blackpool North Station. From there, you can take a bus or taxi to Stanley Park. Buses from Talbot Road (near the station) to Palatine Road (close to the park) operate every 20 minutes, with a journey time of approximately 4 minutes.

Entry into the event is open to everyone of all abilities as long as you are aged over 15 on the day of the race. We only accept online entries and we do not charge a transaction or handling fee for debit/credit cards.
Commemorative tech t-shirts (£10) are also available to order when you process your entry, ready for collection on event day.

All you need to know for event day...

Bib Numbers
Your bib number needs to be collected on race day from the race venue. Registration opens at 9.00am. Please bring your email confirmation or payment receipt with you when collecting to ensure a swift collection process.

You should arrive in plenty of time to avoid queues. There is an enquiry desk if you have any problems or questions about the event. There is also a supply of pins to attach your running number to the front of your running top.

Event Venue
The event venue is within the park near to the Skate Park and Football Pitches. The postcode for Sat Nav's is FY3 9HQ. The race HQ is clearly signed. Toilets, changing and showering facilities are located at the stadium and adjacent Sports Centre. There are vending machines available within the Sports Centre and there is a cafe within the park. The registration area is marked from the car parks so you won’t have trouble finding us.

Car Parking
​Parking is available at the Sports Centre and there is a large car park within Stanley Park. These are Pay and Display facilities so please ensure you have a valid ticket for the duration of your stay. Please park legally at all times. Council Parking Enforcement Officers operate throughout the day.

Baggage Storage is available and is located next to the bib collection points within the arena. Use this facility to store essential items you will need for when you have finished the event. Do not leave any valuables as this area is not manned.

We have a Key Drop facility available throughout the event. Use your empty envelope after collecting your bib number to place your keys in and hand to a member of staff at the collection points for safekeeping whilst you are competing.

A fully staffed Water Station is available at the halfway point on the route supplying 500ml bottled water. When throwing your bottle away, please use the bins/bags located approximately 100 metres after the water station. Water is also available at the finish.

The expert team from Remote Medical Services  will be stood too for the duration of the event. Should you need any assistance, alert a medic or marshal.
