A beautiful two lap course around Stanley Park. A fun event for all abilities and ages. Due to increased demand and popularity the Stanley Park 10k is staged over 2 days. You choose which one, or why not both? The event uses the same beautiful course in the park as the Autumn Breaker 10k later in the year. Starting and finishing on the running track the route follows the well maintained pathways around the park. It is a two lap course, so is great for spectators who wish to stay at the track. It is also very flat and accurately measured. Certificate Number 17/059
The EVENT HQ is at the Running Track behind Blackpool Sports Centre on West Park Drive, Blackpool FY3 9HQ. There is a car park here but can fill up quickly. There are additional car parks within the park. At Event HQ you will find the registration desks where you can collect your race numbers, an enquiry desk if you have any questions, toilets, and baggage storage. There is also changing and showering facilities within the Sports Centre which you can use.
Entry into the event is open to everyone of all abilities as long as you are aged over 15 on the day of the race. We only accept online entries and we do not charge a transaction or handling fee for debit/credit cards.

All you need to know for event day...

Bib Numbers
Your bib number needs to be collected on race day from the race venue. Registration opens at 9.00am. Please bring your email confirmation or payment receipt with you when collecting to ensure a swift collection process.

You should arrive in plenty of time to avoid queues. There is an enquiry desk if you have any problems or questions about the event. There is also a supply of pins to attach your running number to the front of your running top.

If you have chosen to compete on both days, your bib number will work on both days, there is no need to collect another.

Event Venue
The event venue is the Running Track Arena behind the Sports Centre at Stanley Park. The postcode for Sat Nav's is FY3 9HQ. The race HQ is clearly signed. Toilets, changing and showering facilities are located at the stadium and adjacent Sports Centre. There are vending machines available within the Sports Centre and there is a cafe within the park. The registration area is marked from the car parks so you won’t have trouble finding us.

Car Parking
​Parking is available at the Sports Centre and there is a large car park within Stanley Park. These are Pay and Display facilities so please ensure you have a valid ticket for the duration of your stay. Please park legally at all times. Council Parking Enforcement Officers operate throughout the day.

Baggage Storage   is available and is located next to the bib collection points within the arena. Use this facility to store essential items you will need for when you have finished the event. Do not leave any valuables as this area is not manned.

We have a   Key Drop    facility available throughout the event. Use your empty envelope after collecting your bib number to place your keys in and hand to a member of staff at the collection points for safekeeping whilst you are competing.

A fully staffed   Water Station  is available at the halfway point on the route supplying 500ml bottled water. When throwing your bottle away, please use the bins/bags located approximately 100 metres after the water station. Water is also available at the finish.

The expert team from   Remote Medical Services  will be stood too for the duration of the event. Should you need any assistance, alert a medic or marshal.

Awards & Prizes

All runners receive a commemorative medal at the finish line, along with drinks and snacks to help you recover from your run. Individual race winners are awarded prizes in the following categories ON BOTH DAYS:

​The awards presentation will take place at approximately 12.15pm - 12.30pm on the running track. The presentation takes place outdoors, so the time and location may change. Please listen for announcements over the PA system for any changes.
